Construction of the new Gucci LGI logistics center

Specific sector:
Commercial building

Customer:
Luxury Goods International (LGI) SA

Years:
2012-2013

Luxury Goods International, a company owned by the well-known fashion brand Gucci, needed a new logistics center in Switzerland for its internationalization project. The customer has thus selected a plot of land in Sant’Antonino, an area that in 18 months has become the site of a building that covers 20,000 m2 and a volume of 350,000 cubic meters.
The building, consisting of pre-fabricated concrete elements, would later become the world logistics centre of the fashion brand, required the construction of a shed, sprinkler tanks and all the load-bearing hardware of the warehouses. Our main challenge was the short deadline, which has enabled us to optimize each process, enhance our know-how and improve our performance even for other type of projects.
