We were commissioned the building of four adjoining houses immersed in the green, in the densely urbanized context of Solduno. The site was located in a unorganized urbanized area and the aim of the project was to define the area in more organized way.
The buildings, completely made in fair-faceted reinforced concrete, develop on three levels, with the ground floor and garden standing out. The access to the houses is facing south like the kitchen. The courtyards are instead facing north. The second floor of the buildings has a terrace that overlooks the residential area.
The key elements that characterize the project are the prominent backgrounds and overhangs that required the use of a post-tensioned pre-compression.
